Description: Jack Rabbit Hill is an estate winery located on Redlands Mesa, near Hotchkiss, Colorado. Jack Rabbit Hill makes premium varietal wines from 22 acres of certified-organic vineyards. It’s also the home of the Peak Spirits distillery.

All of JRH’s vineyards and pastures are farmed using practices like on-farm composting for soil building, wildlife margins for balancing insect populations, and specially prepared herbal and compost teas for promoting soil and plant vitality. We don’t use any synthetic fertilizers or biocides in our farming, only naturally occurring plant, animal, and mineral materials.

Jack Rabbit Hill has been certified organic since 2000 and is in its 2nd year of Biodynamic certification with Demeter USA. Jack Rabbit Hill, the property, is loaded with natural capital, and Biodynamic practices offer us the best way to tap into Nature’s forces for growing wines with great character.
