Description: Goat Head Ranch offers raw goat milk through a goatshare program. We also offer aged goat cheese, as well as other products made from goat milk such as chocolates. We also manufacture a line of manual and hydraulic Dutch cheese presses.
Goat Head Ranch began as an idea in Kansas and became a reality when we moved back to our beloved Colorado in 2006. Located in the midst of the Arkansas Valley, a green oasis in the middle of the arid plains of eastern Colorado, Goat Head Ranch is 12 acres full of shade trees and lots of room to roam, easily accessible off Highway 50.
Our diverse past, with one partner having lived long years in southern France, amidst the cigalles, vignobles and diverse cheeses, and the other partner’s admiration of the southeastern Colorado’s farmsteading tradition brought by the rich history of Mexican settlers and their dairying techniques, has brought innovation and a hint of audacity to our cheese fueled by our love for tradition and excellence.
