We’ve added new listings under vegetables, fruit, CSA, and eggs.

We’ve added six new farmers’ markets, as well as many new listings under vegetables, fruit, honey and misc. If anyone is looking for gourmet mushrooms, they are listed both under vegetables and misc. We’ve also added some new advertisers, and new distributors.
We are getting down to the wire and will be going to press shortly. If you have been thinking about getting a FREE listing for your farm or ranch, now is the time to do it! Also, if you have been thinking about advertising in our directory, contact us now. While our ad deadline has passed, we may still be able to squeeze you in.
As always, a huge thank you to all of our farmers, ranchers, advertisers and sponsors who are helping make this directory a reality! We also want to thank all those who are finding our website, especially those contacting us expressing their interest, or signing up for our newsletter. January has shown a record amount of traffic to our site, and it keeps growing by the day. Roughly 75% of our visitors are finding us from web searches, and roughly 80% are bookmarking our site. We are also seeing a lot of people clicking links on our site and visiting the growers own websites.

We’ve added a new listing under vegetables. We still have FREE listings available for Colorado Farmers & Ranchers! We’ll be going to press in the next couple weeks, so if you’ve been thinking about joing, now is the time to do it!
We’ve also started using a new web statistics system which gives us a high level of detail about our website. (Don’t worry it does not gather any personal info!) It helps us to see what pages people are looking at, the search words people are using to find us, and we can even track which web links are being clicked on. I’m happy to say that most of our growers are getting traffic from our site to their own. Our goal of connecting conusmers with growers is working!

We’ve added new listings under vegetables, herbs, and honey. And we have some great new advertisers coming on-board!
It is great how so many people are finding our site, joining our mailing lists, and expressing their support for our project. People are definitely spreading the word about our directory and website. A friend just told me that her friend in Longmont sent her a link to our website telling her to check us out.
January 15th, 2008
We have added new listings under Bison/Buffalo, Beef, Dairy, Pork, Poultry and eggs. We also have some new advertisers, and a lot of people who are very interested in this directory. Web traffic is up (we’re close to beating last month’s traffic in the first 15 days of of January), and our web stats show that 80% who find our site are bookmarking it!
We still have free, sponsored listings available, as well as advertising space. Don’t delay, sign up now! We are going to press in the new few weeks… so don’t miss out!

We have added new listings under just about every category in the directory. Check them out!
We’re also trying to finish up reorganizing the directory pages so the list is easier to read, is alphabetical by town, and links to a seperate page for each of our growers with their detailed information. On most pages, you’ll also notice the cool new icons we’ve added. The illustrations are by our good friend, Neal Rohrer.

We have added several new listings under vegetables, dairy, and beef. We also have new advertisers who have signed on, and I have posted some of the more recent ads I’ve designed for our advertisers.

Last but not least, thank you to everyone who is supporting our project either through donations, sponsorship, grower listings, or advertising. We are heartened that so many people are interested in our project, and helping to make it a reality.
