Last week New Belgium Brewing signed on as a sponsor for The Rocky Mountain Growers Directory. Their financial sponsorship will help provide 50 free listings to farmers or ranchers who want to be listed in The Rocky Mountain Growers Directory, but can not afford the $50 listing fee. We thank New Belgium Brewing for their desire to help Colorado’s sutainable growers, and their support in this project!
If you are a Colorado farmer or rancher in need of a sponsored listing, call or email us now to get listed.

The positive feedback continues to fill our (e)mailbox! Here are just a few comments from people around the state:
“Great idea, I love it!”
“Thank you for doing this!”
“I wish I had the directory in my hands right now.”
“I love what you are doing and would like to get involved.”
“We would be interrested in being part of your effort.”
“This would even be great to have on road trips around Colorado so I could find local food at farms or restaurants.”
“Great project!”
“Thanks so much for making the Rocky Mountain Directory.”
“A directory like this is much needed!”
“It is about time someone is doing this!”
“The agri-monster machine needs to be stopped and it’s people like you that are making a difference for all of us.”
(from one of our growers, quoted in the Daily Camera article) “And it’s long overdue… This is such a worthwhile endeavor,” Haynes says. “There are a lot of farmers doing (sustainable agriculture), but they don’t understand how to make the marketing happen. These guys do.”
Again, thank you to all the farmers and ranchers who have joined our directory, and to the advertisers who have been signing on, as well as all the individuals who have emailed or spoke with us in person to express their interest and support in such a directory. While the Boulder area is sometimes an anomaly, I think we can confidently say that there is a good majority of people who want to support local food producers in Colorado.
